International Purchasing Specialist & SAP Process Expert (m/f/d)

As part of our defined company growth targets we are looking for an International Purchasing Specialist & SAP Process Expert (m/f/d) in Bucarest, Romania.
Your responsibility
Management of purchasing process
- Purchasing from suppliers (communication, availability, recalls, SLAs), international
- Follow-up of open orders with suppliers
- Compare and analyze offers and prices from suppliers
- Management of invoices, credit notes, etc. relating to purchased products
- Price calculation taking into account market and customer requirements
- Creation and validation of price tables: Shares/ Innovation Catalogues
- Negotiate and maintain agreements with suppliers
Material and Process management
- Describe process and system requirements
Information and data management
- Maintain supplier, product/service related information in SRM
- Create and manage local SAP numbers
- Align the creation and management of product data with the team
- Process documentation
- Train stakeholders in Europe
Process Improvement
- Analyse our local purchasing process and look for opportunities for improvement
- Collaboration with the product manager and the field sales force
- Assist the product manager and other colleagues as necessary
- Standardization of material management and purchasing processes
- Best practice sharing between markets
Interactions
- Local and international suppliers - often
- Field sales force - regularly
- Finance - regularly
- Hoffmann Full Service Companies stakeholders - regularly: UK, NL, FR, IB, IT
Requirements and qualifications:
- Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of the industrial supplier market
- Technical expertise and/or knowledge of products and suppliers
- Commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Process and systems optimization mindset, solution oriented
- Language skills: English (mandatory), German (mandatory)
- Key user knowledge of ERP systems (in particular SAP MM),
- Use of job-specific IT tools (Microsoft Office tools)
- MS Office at user level and job-specific IT tools (SAP, etc.)
- Travelling within Europe
